DIY Facial Mists

 

Facial mists are a popular beauty trend right now. They are so refreshing and hydrating. And, in summers you can’t think stepping out without them!! So, here are two of my favorite DIY facial mists that I’m sure your skin will love too.

Green Tea Mist

Green Tea is filled with skin- friendly anti-oxidants, and it is most easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 2 green tea bags
  • Boiling water

Steep the green tea bags in a mug of boiling hot water. Leave it for sometime. Then remove the tea bags and let it cool for sometime. Then pour it in a spray bottle and you’re done!!

P.s : You can add Vitamin E oil or Tea tree essential oil if you want.

 

Rose Mist

Rose water helps in maintaining the pH balance and has anti inflammatory properties. It’s aroma is so refreshing that it just melts away all the stress. 

Ingredients:

  • Some organic rose petals
  • Distilled water
  • Jojoba oil

Boil the petals in water for 15 minutes on low flame or until the petals have lost their color. Let it cool down and then strain out the water. And, your rose water is ready!! Now, add 1tbsp of Jojoba oil in ½ cup of rose water or you can increase or reduce the quantity according to your preference. Just pour the mixture in your spray bottle and you are all set to go!!

P.s: You can also add essential oils like lemon and lavender.

Keep the mists in refrigerator so that it really remains cool.
